The Lassen-Modoc Unit of CALFIRE will lift restrictions on burning. You may burn yard debris if you possess a current and valid burn permit. Burn permits will be required until the end of declared fire season. Burning may be suspended at any time due to predicted high winds or periods of critical fire weather so keep informed. Remember to contact your local Air Pollution Control District to determine if it is a permissive burn day and burn responsibly.
