The Tuledad Fire sparks northeast of Susanville in Ravendale, growing to over 400 acres Sunday. The fire started early afternoon with a moderate rate of spread in the grass and brush near Marr rd and Tuledad Rd.
The latest reports by CALFIRE indicated the fire was 50% contained. As of 9 a.m. Monday, October 7, 2024 CALFIRE reports total acreage at 450.
CAL FIRE is coordinating with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). Resources included 60 people, nine engines, three water tenders, three helicopters, 2 dozers, and one hand crew.
According to CAL FIRE, one structure was threatened. The cause is under investigation.
