A portion of State Route 299 is currently closed in Modoc County. The closure is about 1 mile outside of Canby and is due to emergency railroad work. A detour is in place. You are being asked to allow extra time if you’re planning to travel through this area as the detour may add extra time to your normal commute. It is estimated that the work will be done by tomorrow afternoon.
