A fire near the Bieber dump was quickly stopped at half an acre. The CAL FIRE Lassen-Modoc Unit Bieber Station assisted Big Valley Fire Protection District yesterday afternoon. The fire was located between Bieber Dump Road, and Highway 299, South of Saw Mill Cut-Off Road. CalFire LMU and Intermountain Conservation Camp Hand Crew remained into the evening to help Big Valley Fire complete mop up.
