The lightning-caused 3-8 Fire that started in the early morning hours of yesterday around 3 am to the NE of Bieber is up to 75% contained as of this morning. The forward spread of the fire was stopped around 11 am yesterday at 14 acres. The CALFIRE Lassen Modoc Unit continued to increase containment through the night. An update on the progress will be shared in upcoming news segments throughout the day.
