As summer comes into view and new growth is around the town of Greenville continues to see new businesses opening and re-establishing following the Dixie Fire. It may be nowhere near back to what it used to be but the town is moving along quickly in its recovery. The Greenville Pop-up library has found a new temporary home from its previous location at the Greenville Elementary School. It will remain closed through today but reopens tomorrow June 4th at the Greenville Jr. Sr. High school building in room 402. Plans for a mobile library are still in the works. Plumas Bank in Greenville has renovated its building and is being used as a conference center for the time being for the community. Greenville Rotary uses the center on Wednesdays and Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce representative Jeff Titcomb will use the center on Saturdays to answer any questions you may have. Plumas Bank has no time frame of when an ATM will be back up and running for the community but says it could be soon. You will be able to receive banking services from the Plumas Bank Branch manager who is working on setting up a laptop to work with clients. And The Indian Valley Community Services District is working to get the Greenville Park cleaned up with park benches both fixed and repainted.
