Greenville attorney Bret Cook, who lost his home to the Dixie fire along with his law office is joining forces with partners well versed in wildfire cases to bring a suit against PG&E. The lawsuit alleges that PG&E’s negligence in maintaining the vegetation around the power line in the Feather river canyon, along with the power company’s failure to properly respond to the fall tree branch on one of their lines in a timely fashion, led to the nearly 1 million acre fire that could have otherwise been avoided. The law firm will represent the nearly 500 victims that the Dixie fire impacted. They hold Dixie Fire Zoom meetings every Tuesday at 7. You can register through WildfireLegalCenter.com
