Wildfire Safety Grants Divided Amongst 10 North State Fire Departments and Community Groups

$134,000 dollars from wildfire safety grants will be divided amongst 10 North state fire departments and community groups. The grants come from the wildfire and safety and preparedness program through the California Fire Foundation who has partnered with PG&E. The funds bring resources to underserved communities in high fire threat areas. Butte, Shasta, Tehema and Trinity county are amongst those to receive funding averaging $10,000 dollars each.
