SCAM ALERT
Lassen Municipal Utility District (LMUD) reports that some solar sales representatives have contacted Lassen County residents without authorization.
LMUD does not sell solar equipment or work with solar contractors, distributors, or sales representatives.
If you want to explore solar options, LMUD can provide information about solar generation and the rules for connecting solar systems to the LMUD grid.
Before connecting a solar system, customers must submit an approved solar application and pass a system inspection by LMUD.
For questions, call LMUD at (530) 257-4174, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
