Boil Water Notice Issued for Downieville Following Power Restoration

Power has been restored and the Downieville water tanks are beginning to refill. A boil water notice is now in effect for the next 7–10 days.

Boil Water Instructions:

* Bring all water to a rolling boil for 1-3 minutes

* Use boiled or bottled water for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, and washing dishes

* Ice should be made with boiled or bottled water only

This notice remains in effect until further notice. Updates will be provided as water quality testing is completed.
