On the morning of Friday, December 20th at approximately 0220 hours, officers from the Susanville Police Department responded to an alarm call at the Spirit Gas Station located at 2525 Main Street. Officers observed damage to the building and signs of theft from the business. While searching the area, they contacted a male nearby who had merchandise from the store in his possession. This individual was later identified as Michael Scott Tyree, a resident of Klamath Falls, Oregon. Tyree was arrested by the Susanville Police Department officers and booked into the Lassen County Jail for burglary and resisting arrest.
