Important Voter Information as Registration Increases by Over 3M in State

With the June primary right around the corner you are in the last month to register to vote. If you are newly 18 or have not previously registered the California Secretary of State urges you to register soon than later, you must be registered 15 days prior to any election. That gives you until May 23rd to complete ahead of the June 7th Primary. If you have chosen to receive a mail-in-ballot it must be received by the elections office 7 days following the election or you can also drop it off to the elections office. The Secretary of state has shared that at this same point in time in past gubernatorial elections there has been an increase of over 3 million registered voters for this election cycle.

Lassen County will see races for both District 3 and 5 Supervisor, as well as a race for three city council seats with 8 candidates in the running.
