California Fish & Game Grants

California’s wildlife rehabilitators play an important role in caring for our state’s wildlife. They provide vital care and treatment for sick, injured and orphaned wildlife, with the goal of eventually releasing the animals back to the wild. This work can be stressful and demanding, sometimes requiring round-the-clock care with limited resources. CDFW supports these efforts and encourages ALL eligible rehab facilities to apply for funding through the Native Wildlife Rehabilitation Grants Program. This is the second year that these grants have been available, thanks to the Native California Wildlife Rehabilitation Voluntary Tax Contribution Fund. Last year, CDFW directed approximately $550,000 in grant funding to 45 wildlife rehabilitation facilities to support and advance care for wildlife in need.
The deadline to apply is Monday, Nov. 1 at 5 p.m. Learn more here: https://wildlife.ca.gov/…/Labo…/Wildlife-Health/Rehab…
