The Susanville Police department in coordination with the National Office of Traffic Safety is encouraging students and their parents to walk, ride, or roll to classes on the 12th.
The nationally recognized day is an annual event to celebrate the importance of exercising and highlighting pedestrian and road safety.
You should plan to expect to see more foot traffic that morning as schools are encouraged to also help participation by registering at walkbiketoschool.org.
