A three-car collision on 139 leaves all drivers with major injuries.
On Friday, October 7th, around 8 am near South Grasshopper road Brian Madison, aged 59 out of Portland was driving his Chevy Silverado south on 139 when for unknown reasons he drove his truck across the double yellow lines and collided head-on with 68-year-old David East of Loleta CA. A third car, driven by 73-year-old Linda Hancock of Reno, was directly behind East and was not able to stop, colliding into the back of East’s car.
Madison the driver of the Chevy was taken to renown by helicopter to treat chest pain, East was flown to Redding for possible multiple broken bones, and Hancock was taken to Banner for a broken arm.
