On August 3, 2021, the Lassen County Superior Court granted the City of Susanville’s request for a temporary restraining order. The temporary order prohibits the following acts: “Undertaking any further effort to close the California Correctional Center.” A formal hearing on continuing the injunction is scheduled for August 17, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in Department 1 of the Lassen County Hall of Justice on Riverside Drive, in Susanville.
