Lassen County Air Pollution Control District is offering a program for Commercial, Non-profit, and Public entities in Lassen County. This program provides vouchers to help reduce the cost of replacing existing gas- or diesel-powered lawn and garden equipment with battery-operated zero-emission equipment. Eligible applicants include Landscaping & Gardening businesses, as well as entities that maintain their own grounds or perform land management or fire hazard reduction activities. Applicants must own and operate existing combustion equipment that will be surrendered and scrapped. To apply, visit lassenair.org or go to 66 N Lassen St, Susanville CA 96130 for an application.
