On Friday night Modoc County Sheriff’s Deputies assisted the California Highway Patrol, Cedarville Volunteer Fire Department, Lake City Volunteer Fire Department, Alturas Rural Volunteer Fire Department, and Surprise Valley Ambulance with rescuing two people that slid off of the road on Cedar Pass. Both people in the vehicle were treated for minor injuries.
