Susanville CHP and local emergency agencies are hosting a large-scale active shooter training exercise tomorrow, Wednesday, June 17, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Shaffer Elementary School.
Please Do Not Be Alarmed:
If you see a heavy presence of first responders, emergency vehicles, or hear simulated gunfire in the area, remember it is only a drill.
