An urgent public notice went out for lake goes at Lake Siskiyou to stay out of the water. The Siskiyou office of emergency services alerted that the North Shore of the lake has been found to be contaminated. Several families who have enjoyed the waters in the area in the last few days have been reporting feeling nauseous and ill. Although found on the North Shore of the lake you are advised to remain out of the entire lake until testing is completed. Multiple samples have been collected and sent off to various labs. More information will be available once the results are received.
