Prepare for delays today over Fredonyer summit. Caltrans says there will be lane closures for up to 15 minutes over the pass due to road buckling.
It is unclear what caused the damage to the roadway, but Caltrans representatives say they were aware of the situation and the area supervisor has arranged work to begin today to make repairs and ensure the safety of those traveling over the summit.
