Construction crews are returning to the Devil’s Corral Safety Improvement Project east of Chester. Drivers can expect one-way traffic control between Goodrich Creek Bridge and Willard Creek Road access points.

Work is scheduled Monday through Thursday from 7 in the morning until 7 in the evening, and Fridays until 3 p.m. Delays of up to fifteen minutes are expected, with some delays reaching twenty-five minutes when vehicles must travel through unpaved construction zones.

The 16.7 million dollar project includes wider shoulders, upgraded drainage culverts, utility relocation work, new rumble strips, and vegetation removal designed to improve highway safety. Construction is expected to continue through the end of September.
