Hundreds of bicyclists will hit the streets tomorrow for the Mile High Bike Ride. Be sure to share the road as they embark From Chester, winding through over 100 miles throughout the Lake Almanor Region into Clear Creek, Pine Wood, and Westwood. Riders will be traveling along the area’s highways, including SR36, 147, and 89, and on county road A-21. It is state law to give a cyclist no less than a three-foot distance when passing, and your vehicle must not interfere with the safe operation of the bicycles.
This year’s event marks the 40th annual Mile High Ride benefitting the Lake Almanor Recreation and Park District.
