Caltrans District 2 is beginning major roadway improvements on State Route 139 near Susanville. Motorists should plan for delays and intermittent closures during construction. Emergency access will be maintained for emergency vehicles. Please plan ahead and travel accordingly.
Location: SR 139 north of Spring Ridge Rd to the BLM Shooting Range (PM 6.7). Skyline Drive and Spring Ridge Rd will not be impacted by the closure.

Schedule:
- Weekday Closures: Mon–Fri, 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. & 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Open to Traffic: 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (with traffic control)
- Nights/Weekends: One-way traffic with signal ~ 3 miles north of Spring Ridge Rd
- Delays: Expect significant delays throughout the project area
