UPDATE onTraffic Closures on State Route 139 Starting April 28: What You Need to Know

đźš§TRAFFIC ALERTđźš§: Intermittent full closures will be in effect on State Route 139 beginning on Monday, April 28. Here’s what you need to know!

📍 State Route 139 will be CLOSED to traffic on weekdays, Monday through Friday, between Spring Ridge Road and the BLM Shooting Range (PM 6.7).

⏰ Full closures will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. During the one hour opening period from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., traffic control will be in effect.

🚦 During nights and weekends, motorists should plan for one-way traffic control with a traffic signal, approximately 3 miles north of Spring Ridge Road. Minimal delays are expected at this location.

đźš— For the entirety of the project limits, from Chestnut Street to Hagata Road, motorists may experience up to 30-minute delays depending on operations.

📝 Please note that plans have been made to accommodate emergency vehicles needing to pass through the project limits during the above listed intermittent closure times.

⚠️ Motorists needing to travel through the closure area should plan ahead and leave early to ensure they arrive either prior to the closure times or during the one hour opening.
