A shelter in place alarmed Quincy residents this morning at 8:30 a.m. The Plumas County Sheriff’s Office issued the order as a person was found the be attempting to break into cars in a neighborhood around the Quincy Elementary School Alder street campus. That shelter in place has since been lifted as the Plumas county Sheriff’s office has arrested the suspect. It is unconfirmed if this person is the same individual who crashed the stolen car on Bradley Street yesterday and fled the scene as reported by Quincy CHP. That man has been described as a Native American middle-aged man in a black t-shirt. More details as they emerge.
