The Plumas National Forest warns Quincy and Butterfly Valley that smoke will be impacting the area starting today. The ntl forest will be igniting underburn units in the butterfly valley area. The operation will continue through the weekend and into next week. If you live in these surrounding communities you will see smoke linger. Yet the ntl forest is monitoring it’s impacts to your community, if significant ignitions will be stopped.
