Lassen County Public Health reminds us that Measles are on the rise and VERY contagious. The disease spreads through the air when an infected person coughs or sneezes. You can get measles just by being in a room where a person infected with measles has been. This can happen even up to 2 hours after that person has left. Please ensure you and your loved ones are protected with two doses of the MMR vaccine.
