The Plumas County Elections Department reports it will be holding informational meetings for special district boards and district administration.
The information that will be presented will include reporting requirements and resource tools for the special districts, as well as information regarding the uniform district election in November 2025 for special district board members and positions that are up for election this year.
Organizers say the presentation is tailored to special district administrators, staff and interested parties. Participants can engage in a comprehensive review of key regulations, requirements, forms and processes.
There are three meetings scheduled:
- May 14, Quincy, Mineral Building at the Plumas-Sierra County Fairgrounds
- May 15, Chester, Chester Memorial Hall at 224 Bridge St.
- May 21, Portola, Veterans Memorial Hall at 75129 Highway 70
All meetings will begin at 6 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.
