Bruce Robbins, a Plumas County maintenance worker, is retiring after 22 years of service to Plumas County. Facilities Director Neil Collin introduced Robbins at the April 18 Plumas County Board of Supervisors meeting, presenting him with a plaque recognizing him for his years of service.

Juan Perez, the department’s newest employee, read the plaque to the public crowding the board room, which included a dozen of Robbins’ co-workers. The entire audience rose in a standing ovation honoring Robbins.

Robbins said he would be back, “volunteering at the job I loved.”
