The proposal to open a cannabis dispensary in Westwood will be up for discussion during this Tuesday’s Lassen County Planning Commission meeting. Ravinder and Harpreet Sandhu are looking to open the dispensary in an existing commercial building off of HWY 36 and Mooney road. As of the May 24th Board of Supervisor meeting though, the county has yet to come to a final decision on allowing commercial cannabis and it is currently up for discussion to draft a measure to be placed on the November ballot for the voters of Lassen. The planning commission meets at the Board of Supervisors Chamber on Nevada Street in Susanville this Tuesday at 1:10 in the afternoon to weigh in.
