Aircraft Emergency Landing. This afternoon (4/16/25) a small aircraft departed Stead, NV and experienced a catastrophic engine failure over Hallelujah Junction. The pilot was able to glide to Scott Road and made a safe landing on the dirt road. Our officer was in the area and was able to assist the pilot by pulling the aircraft off the road.
