Caltrans says traveling on State Route 36 in Tehama County will have significant traffic delays as the emergency restoration work resumes following the Park Fire. Caltrans has implemented one-way traffic control between Morgan Summit and Mill Creek, you are advised to expect delays of up to 30 minutes between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. each day.

This restoration project, aimed at repairing areas affected by fire damage, is expected to wrap up by the end of November, contingent on favorable weather and operational conditions. Caltrans is also managing full closures on nearby State Route 32, where additional fire recovery work is underway.

Motorists are encouraged to plan for extra travel time through the area and stay updated on any potential changes in the project schedule as crews continue their efforts to restore safety and accessibility to the region’s roadways.
