The Mile High 100 is one of Almanor Recreation and Park Districts’ largest fundraising events. Almanor Recreation and Park District will celebrate the 40th annual High Mile Bike ride on three beautiful tranquility routes featuring Lake Almanor and amazing views of Lassen Park through Chester, Ca, The rides will vary in distances from 33 miles to 100 miles featuring a new route east to Lassen County through Hwy 147 and County Road A-21. Rides will be prepared with fully stocked rest stops, including a new rest stop at The Walker Mansion in Westwood. Riders will have catered lunch, and rider support, and The Timber House providing a complementary post-ride beer, and riders will receive a t-shirt. Registration must be before June 10th and can be found at www. Milehigh100.com. The event will take place Saturday, June 17th.
