You may have observed the commotion at Memorial Park as the precast restroom facility has been successfully delivered. This much-needed facility was made possible through the city’s diligent efforts to secure a grant from the state’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG CV ⅔) program.
The restroom features four individual stalls, each fully equipped with a toilet and sink. In addition, there is a separate electrical panel/storage room to ensure the facility’s functionality. The facility has been coated with anti-graffiti paint to enhance its aesthetics and durability. Moreover, it boasts an exterior water bottle filling station and a water fountain, providing a convenient and refreshing experience for park visitors. The restroom facility also received a modern and updated design, giving it a fresh and attractive appearance.
This project received approval from the city council in February, representing a significant improvement for Memorial Park and the community at large.
