Update to this morning’s collision in Sierraville. The driver of the rolled Audi that destroyed the bridge, a telephone pole and a tree has been located and offered medical attention. Furthermore, an investigation into the drivers actions before and after the collision has been initiated. Please remember to never leave the scene of a collision and never drive impaired. 6 Sierra county fire personnel, 4 ambulance personnel and a CHP unit spent hours looking for this party in the heavy rain. At 4:13 AM this morning, the driver of an Audi crashed into the Perry Creek Bridge in Sierraville. The driver left the scene and has been seen walking on the highway between Calpine and Sattley. She is approximately 35 years old, has blonde hair, and is wearing dark clothes. Due to the severity of the accident, it is believed she requires medical attention.
