Emergency road repairs have begun on the Parker Creek washout. Modoc Forest Service officials say the road will be closed during repairs over the next two weeks.
The Roads surfaces about a half mile west of the bridge over the South Fork of Parker Creek failed due to strong spring storms.
You can travel through the area as a bypass has been made available, though you are asked to plan your trip accordingly and avoid the immediate work area
