In an early morning raid near Day, CA, Modoc County sheriffs seized 400 pounds of processed marijuana and arrested 11 individuals in connection with a large-scale grow operation.
At dawn on Wednesday, deputies descended on a barn on Schneider Road, armed with a search warrant. What they found inside was a full-scale marijuana processing operation, with workers caught red-handed as they trimmed and packaged the illicit crop.
A thorough search of the property revealed 150 marijuana plants, along with the staggering 400 pounds of processed weed ready for distribution.
The 11 suspects now face serious charges, including cultivation and possession of marijuana for sale, possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, and conspiracy. They’ve all been arraigned and are being held on bail.
