Following a special city council meeting, the city of Loyalton has a severe water infrastructure problem to solve. The city will hold a town hall event to discuss the state of the town’s water system. You can be there to learn more about the short-term solutions to get by and contribute to the long-term planning. The city will also form a community ad hoc committee to continue efforts to bring the decaying system up to date.
Water woes have plagued Loyalton over the last several months. Including a massive leak in the city’s main line that resulted in emergency repairs. Those efforts led to a boil water notice for the town for over a week.
The town hall is Thursday, November 3rd, at 6:30 pm at the City Hall auditorium.
