Local photographer Randy Robbins was recognized by the Lassen County Board of Supervisors this week with a special proclamation celebrating his photographic achievements and contributions to showcasing the region’s natural beauty.

Robbins, who has built a reputation for capturing stunning images of Lassen County and California’s diverse landscapes, was honored during a board meeting, where he received the proclamation in person. While the meeting was packed with agenda items, Robbins expressed deep gratitude for the recognition, noting that it meant more to him than many of his other professional accolades.

“Today I was honored at the Lassen County Board of Supervisors meeting with this proclamation, congratulating me on my photographic achievements (specifically one that will be announced officially in a couple of days), and for showcasing the natural beauty of our area, and California as a whole,” Robbins shared in a social media post following the event.

While he didn’t have the opportunity to speak during the meeting, Robbins took to social media to express his appreciation. “To be honored in this way by Lassen County means more to me than most of the other accolades that I’ve received through photography. I truly love this place, and to be able to show it off to the world is an honor.”

The Board of Supervisors’ proclamation acknowledges Robbins’ role in bringing attention to Lassen County’s scenic landscapes and wildlife through his photography. His work has not only resonated with locals but has also reached a wider audience, helping to promote the region’s natural beauty on a larger scale.

Robbins hinted at an upcoming announcement regarding a specific photographic achievement, adding to the excitement surrounding his latest recognition.

As he continues to capture the essence of Lassen County through his lens, Robbins remains committed to representing and celebrating the area he calls home. “I will continue to do my best to represent this place well,” he concluded.

The Lassen County community eagerly awaits further details on Robbins’ upcoming project and continues to celebrate his work in preserving and sharing the region’s breathtaking landscapes.
