Lassen Municipal Utility District will discuss a contract with Hat creek construction for an access road to the Skedaddle Project. completion of the project is expected within the next two years with a price tag of a near 50 million dollars. The goal is to eliminate LMUD’s dependency on the current connection to the grid through PG&E’s Caribou transmission line that travels through the rough terrain of the Feather River Canyon, as well as to reduce reliance on honey Lake Power to give stable, sustainable connections to the power supply. You can learn the year-to-date costs of the project at the LMUD board meeting this Tuesday evening at 5:30 on 66 S Roop Street. A full agenda can be found at LMUD.org
