The Clear Creek Fuels Reduction Project, in coordination with CALFIRE’s Lassen Modoc Unit, Lassen National Forest, Westwood Fire, and SPI, and the Lassen Fire Safe Council, successfully reduced 40 acres of timber and understory this week. Though the agencies say, you may continue to see smoke along county road A21 at Highway 147 and Highway 36 at 147 and in Clear Creek and Westwood communities over the next few days. Use caution if traveling through the area, as smoke may reduce visibility.
