Like all things creepy and crawly, Lassen College is inviting you to a lunch with spiders.
Science professor Dr. Kelly Kissane will host a “Spiders are Awesome” Lunch-and-Learn. The lunch promises to provide you knowledge on the benefits the eight-legged arachnids provide the environment around you, and even those who may jump at the sight of a spider can even learn how to co-exist with them better. There will also be a show-and-tell activity and a question-and-answer session during lunch. The class will be an hour long in the Lassen County Library on February 7th from 11:30 to 12:30. Everyone of all ages is welcome; you do NOT have to be an LCC student to attend.
If you want more information, you can call LCC Outreach Annika Peacock at 775-567-9457.
