Snow plows are in high demand after this weekend’s storm, and recreational areas are being impacted. The Lassen National forest says Due to limited resources for snow removal, the Canyon Dam Boat Launch will be cleared of snow when there is time. The forest service says the launch is inaccessible but plans to have it cleared by this afternoon.
They advise you to call the Almanor Ranger District at 530-258-2141 to check the status before heading to the boat launch area.
