Good evening, Lassen County! If weather conditions permit, Lassen National Forest will begin prescribed fire operations at Signal Underburn starting tomorrow 4/22 and Wednesday 4/23.
The general location is four miles NW of the community of Spaulding, near Houseman Reservoir. Eagle Lake will be burning for a two-day total of approximately 800 acres.
Smoke will be visible in the Eagle Lake Basin and on highway 139. To check for any smoke impacts in your area visit www.airnow.gov
