Lassen MUD is set to hold a special meeting this evening.
Under closed session, according to the agenda, the board will discuss a “public employee appointment/public employment” of a general manager.
This comes following the announcement by Valley Electric of Pahrump, NV on October 2nd, naming now former Lassen MUD General Manager Robbie Hamlin as the new CEO. In the announcement, Hamlin says it has been a “career goal” of his “to serve a rural electric cooperative as CEO.” Also stating the move will bring him closer to family.
The Lassen MUD board will hold the special meeting today at 5:30 in the LMUD board room on S. Roop Street in Susanville.
The next regular scheduled meeting for LMUD will be held Tuesday, October 22 at 5:30 p.m.
