Mark your calendars for our March Chamber Mixer! Thursday, March 17th at 5:30pm, located at Highway to the Gaming Zone, 1430 Main St in Susanville. Make this St. Patrick’s Day one for the whole family with arcade games, specialty drinks, small bites, and a raffle! Everyone is welcomed to attend; you do not have to be a Chamber member attend and we encourage you to bring a friend.

Hello, Spring! After having to postpone this event for the past two years, we are ready to bring to you our 14th annual Spring Show, Saturday, April 30th from 10am – 3pm at Lassen County Fairgrounds. If your business fits into Home, Garden, Recreation or Wedding Vendor, we welcome you! Best of Broadway’s 2022 production brings to you, the concert series, Home Again! Mark your calendar for EIGHT performances the first two weeks of March! Tickets are $15 each and available at Margie’s Book Nook, Zaengle’s Floor and Home, and Lassen County Chamber of Commerce.

There will be a fundraiseron Sunday, March 13th from 9am – 3pm, to helpsupport the Loflin Family and help spread Breast Cancer Awareness. This fundraiser will include a full day of events, featuring a corn hole tournament, workout classes, craft fair, raffle, kids club, and lunch. Looking for dinner plans for St. Patrick’s Day? Lassen Humane Society will be offering a drive thru Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner for $16 per plate from 5pm – 7pm, at Susanville Senior Center, 1700 Sunkist Dr. in Susanville. Join Soroptimist International of Susanville with a St. Patrick’s Day Party to benefit #fightforccc. The Shenanigans Shindig will be held at Jensen Hall, Lassen County Fairgrounds, Friday, March 18th from 7pm – 10pm. This event will include live music by the band ‘Timeless”, Pot of Gold Wheel, Couples Leprechaun Contest, Leprechaun Limbo, Silent Auction, Drinks and Snacks! Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased at Axia Home Loans.

The Susanville Symphony Society brings to you The Susanville Swing Band, Saturday, March 19th at 7pm, located at Susanville Elk’s Lodge. Applications for Lassen County Farm Bureau scholarships and American Ag Credit are now available. These scholarships will be awarded to deserving high school or college students who are pursuing a career in agriculture or agri-business. Students can obtain applications on the Face Book page Lassen County Farm Bureau, by contacting their school counselors or call the Lassen County Farm Bureau office at (530) 257-7242. The application deadline is March 25, 2022.

Applications for Lassen Association of Realtors Scholarships are now available. This year LAR will be offering three (3) $1000.00 scholarships. Students must be in their senior year attending a high school within Lassen County. For more information, call (530) 257-5220. The application deadline is April 15, 2022.

Applications for Lassen Fastpitch and Lassen Lightning Softball are now available. This year Lassen Fastpitch and Lassen Lightning Softball will be offering (1) primary scholarship in the amount of $1000 and (1) secondary scholarship in the amount of $500. Students must be high school seniors who have played a minimum of two years in the local Lassen Youth Fastpitch Softball League; Must be a senior at Lassen High School; Plan to attend an accredited College, University, or Trade School. Applications for LMUD Scholarships are now available. LMUD is offering two (2) $1250 scholarships for high school seniors and one (1) $500 scholarship for returning college students, in a program designed to enhance the education and resulting careers of deserving local students.Applications can be accessed on their website or for more information contact, (530) 257-4174. Application deadline is April 29, 2022.
