The Lassen County Board of Supervisors will convene in a special meeting this morning to interview candidates for Fair Manager.
Reviewing applications for the county administrative officer (CAO) role is also included in the matters to be discussed.
The meeting will commence with a public comment period, allowing community members to express their views on the items slated for closed session. Following this, the board will enter the closed session to conduct interviews for the Fair Manager position, a role that became vacant after the resignation of former manager Kaitlyn Midgley on September 27.
In addition to the Fair Manager interviews, the supervisors will consider applications for the CAO position, as current CAO Richard Egan will retire at year’s end.
The board is expected to announce any decisions made during the closed session upon reconvening in open session.
The board’s agenda can be found by visiting the county’s website.
