K-9 Officer Gnash with the Modoc County Sheriffs’ office helped in the arrest of three men out of central Oregon. Sheriffs’ Deputies had noticed an unusual vehicle parked at the Chevron Gas Station in Alturas, noticing an expired license registration. K-9 officer Gnash was brought to the vehicle to air sniff when he alerted to drugs concealed in the vehicle’s rear bumper. Hidden inside, officers found 3.5 ounces of meth.

The officers were able to locate the three suspects associated with the vehicle and arrested them on possession of drugs and paraphernalia, meth for sale, and possession of a dagger.
