Judge Moody’s health delays proceeding in the latest with the Susanville v. CDCR and State for the announced closure of the CCC case. Yesterday the court was to begin the process to detail the specific duties of the Special Master of courts, who will enact as a referee of sorts between both parties and the judge as was determined in April. The appointment of Harvey Liederman was brought to the 3rd court of appeals by the State to which the 3rd appellate court determined the Specials Master’s role was too vague and returned it back to Judge Moody, now presiding over the case. The proceedings will continue this Thursday at 9 am.
